Oh, My Aching Feet

San Francisco’s chiropodists were doing a thriving business due to the neglected condition of the streets and sidewalks. It was said “so many corns, bunions, and general injury to the feet are thereby caused, that the chiropodists are rapidly growing rich. People with corns and bunions have no rights which property owners are bound to respect.”
