The covering of the dome has been removed in preparation for conversion
of the structure into a police station.
When Hibernia Bank went out of business in the 1980s, the building
again became headquarters for the San Francisco Police Department's Tenderloin
Dome of City Hall, at Grove and Larkin streets, is seen at left. Spire
of St. Boniface Church, on Golden Gate Ave., is at right.
